View the payment history of a payment link

View a link's payment history on the Self-Care Portal.

You can use the Self-Care Portal to view a list of payments that your customers made through a payment link.

Note: For single-use links, only one transaction appears in your payment history.

 

To view the payment history of a payment link, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to payments.payroc.com/merchant/selfcare/.
  2. From the side menu, select Customers, and then select PayByLink.
  3. Locate the payment link you want to view.
  4. From the Action column, select , and then select Payment History.
  5. (Optional) Use the filter to locate a transaction. You can select SAVE to save your filter for future use.
  6. (Optional) To export the payment history as a CSV file, select EXPORT AS CSV.

 The Self-Care Portal displays the following information about the payment history of a payment link:

Heading

Description

Date/Time

Date and time that the customer made the payment.

Order ID

Reference number for the payment.

Name

Name of the customer.

Type

Indicates whether the payment is a sale, a pre-authorization, or a pre-authorization that you captured. The value is one of the following options:

  • SALE - You immediately take payment from your customer's account.
  • PREAUTH - You temporarily hold funds in your customer's account. To capture a pre-authorization, go to Capture a pre-authorization
  • COMPLETION - You captured the pre-authorization.

Status

Status of the payment. The value is one of the following statuses:

  • ACCEPTED - The processor has received the transaction but hasn't started processing it
  • PENDING - We've received the transaction but haven't added it to the open batch.
  • READY - We've received the transaction and have added it to the open batch.
  • IN PROGRESS - The processor is processing the transaction.
  • REFERRAL - The card issuer flagged the transaction for a manual review.
  • DECLINED - The card issuer or processor rejected the transaction.
  • PICKUP - The card issuer flagged the transaction as potentially fraudulent.
  • COMPLETE - The processor settled the transaction and removed funds from the customer's account.
  • EXPIRED - The card issuer approved the pre-authorization, but you didn't capture it before it expired.
  • REVERSAL - You or the processor canceled the pre-authorization.
  • ADMIN - The processor failed to process the transaction due to errors, for example, batching issues.

Account

Customer's payment details. The value depends on the payment method:

  • Card - Masked card number and expiry date.
  • Bank transfer - Masked account number.

Amount

Amount that the customer paid.

Action

Actions you can take to manage your transaction. You can: 

  • View the transaction details.
  • Print a merchant copy or a cardholder copy of the receipt. For more information about how to print a receipt, go to Print a receipt.
