You can use the Roc Terminal+ web portal to configure how long your device stays on before the display turns off.
The minimum time you can set is 31 seconds, and the maximum time depends on the model of your device:
- Newland X800 devices - 9,999 seconds or 2 hours and 46 minutes
- Newland N950 or N950S devices - 600,000 seconds or 7 days
Note: Any changes you make in the web portal override any sleep settings that you configured on your device.
To configure the sleep settings for your device, complete the following steps:
- Log in to https://terminalplus.rocpos.com/login.
- On the side menu, select Device Management.
- (Optional) Search for your device using one of the following criteria:
- Endpoint identifier (EPI) of your device
- Serial number of your device
- Model number of your device
- Doing Business As (DBA) name associated with your device
- Store name associated with your device
- Select the EPI of your device.
- Select EDIT PARAMETERS.
- Select the Terminal & Transaction tab, and then select the Terminal tab.

- In the Sleep Mode/Timer field, enter the time in seconds for how long the device stays on before the display turns off.
- Select SAVE.
