You can use the Roc Terminal+ web portal to configure how your device handles receipts during a sale. You can configure the following receipt settings:
- Delivery options - Choose how your customers receive receipts. You can print paper receipts, send receipts by email and SMS, or do both.
- Signature options - Choose how your device requests customer signatures during a sale. You can print a signature line on receipts, prompt for a signature on the device screen, or request a signature based on the cardholder’s verification method (CVM).
To configure your receipt settings, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Access the print options
- Log in to https://terminalplus.rocpos.com/login.
- On the side menu, select Device Management.
- (Optional) Search for your device using one of the following criteria:
- Endpoint identifier (EPI) of your device
- Serial number of your device
- Model number of your device
- Doing Business As (DBA) name associated with your device
- Store name associated with your device
- Select the EPI of your device.
- Select EDIT PARAMETERS.
- Select the Receipt tab, and then select the Print Option tab.

Step 2. Configure your receipt settings
Choose one of the following receipt configurations:
Set up paper receipts
- Turn off Hide Receipt Option.

- Turn on Paper receipt.
- In the Merchant Receipt Options section, choose a print option for merchant receipts:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- In the Customer Receipt Options section, choose a print option for customer receipts:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- (Optional) If you use a Newland X800 device, turn off Email Receipt.
- (Optional) To print a merchant and customer receipt when a transaction is declined, turn on Receipt for Declined Transaction.
- Turn off SMS Receipt.
- Choose whether you want to print a signature line on receipts:
- To print a signature line on receipts, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select ON PAPER.
- Turn off Force On Screen Signature.
- To turn off signatures on receipts, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select NONE.
- Turn off Force On Screen Signature.
- To print a signature line on receipts, complete the following steps:
- Select SAVE.
Set up email and SMS receipts
Note: You can set up email receipts only if you have a Newland X800 device.
- Turn off Hide Receipt Option.

- Turn off Paper receipt.
- In the Merchant Receipt Options section, select Don’t Print.
- In the Customer Receipt Options section, select Don’t Print.
- (Optional) If you use a Newland X800 device, turn on Email Receipt.
- (Optional) To print a merchant and customer receipt when a transaction is declined, turn on Receipt for Declined Transaction.
- Turn on SMS Receipt.
- In the Merchant Receipt for SMS/Email section, choose a print option for merchant receipts when a customer chooses an SMS or email receipt:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- Choose whether you want your device to prompt for a signature:
- To prompt for a signature on the device screen, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select ON DISPLAY.
- Turn on Force On Screen Signature.
- To turn off signatures on the device screen, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select NONE.
- Turn off Force On Screen Signature.
- To prompt for a signature on the device screen, complete the following steps:
- Select SAVE.
Set up paper, email, and SMS receipts
Note: You can set up email receipts only if you have a Newland X800 device.
- Turn off Hide Receipt Option.

- Turn on Paper receipt.
- In the Merchant Receipt Options section, choose a print option for merchant receipts:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- In the Customer Receipt Options section, choose a print option for customer receipts:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- (Optional) If you have a Newland X800 device, turn on Email Receipt.
- (Optional) To print a merchant and customer receipt when a transaction is declined, turn on Receipt for Declined Transaction.
- Turn on SMS Receipt.
- In the Merchant Receipt for SMS/Email section, choose a print option for merchant receipts when a customer chooses an SMS or email receipt:
- Don’t Print – Don’t print a paper receipt.
- Auto – Automatically print a paper receipt.
- Prompt – Prompt for a paper receipt.
- Choose how you want to request signatures from customers:
- To prompt for a signature on the device screen based on the cardholder’s verification method (CVM), complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select DEFAULT.
- Turn on Force On Screen Signature.
- To prompt for a signature on the device screen, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select ON DISPLAY.
- Turn on Force On Screen Signature.
- To print a signature line on receipts, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select ON PAPER.
- Turn off Force On Screen Signature.
- To request a signature on the device screen and receipts, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select ON PAPER.
- Turn on Force On Screen Signature.
- To turn off signatures on both your device and receipts, complete the following steps:
- In the Forced Signature section, select NONE.
- Turn off Force On Screen Signature.
- To prompt for a signature on the device screen based on the cardholder’s verification method (CVM), complete the following steps:
- Select SAVE.
