You can create an enhanced data template that you can then select each time you run a sale. When you select the template, the portal automatically populates the enhanced data for you. This is useful if you repeatedly sell the same items to a customer, or if you repeatedly sell a specific set of line items to multiple customers.
To create an enhanced data template, complete the following steps:
- On the side menu, select Settings, and then select Enhanced Data Templates.
- Select CREATE TEMPLATE.
- In the Name field, enter the name of the template.
- (Optional) To use this as the default template, select Select as Default.
- Select SAVE.
- Select the Enhanced Data tab.

- Complete the Customer Information section and the Items section. Be aware of the following:
- Description - Enter a specific description for the item. Don't send a generic description, for example, “MISC” or “N/A”.
- Tax Rate (%) - Enter the tax rate for the item. If you are shipping an item to the cardholder, use the tax rate at the cardholder's location. If you aren't shipping the item, use the tax rate at your merchant location.
- (Optional) Complete the following sections:
- Sales Discount
- Sales Tax
- Transaction Summary
- Select SAVE.
When you run a sale, you can select your template from the Enhanced Data Template drop-down menu.
