Connect the P180 PIN pad to your N950-S device.

Connect the PIN pad to your N950-S

  1. Power off your N950-S.
  2. Remove the back cover of the N950-S.
  3. Connect the adapter cable to the USB-C port on the back of the N950-S.
  4. Connect the cable from the PIN pad to the USB-A port on adapter cable.
  5. Reattach the back cover of the N950-S.
  6. Power on the N950-S.

If you successfully connected the PIN pad to your N950-S, a Free Alphabet Letters A to Z Blue | Letters and Numbers Org appears on the screen of the N950-S.

Troubleshooting

My PIN pad isn’t connecting to my N950-S

If your N950-S doesn’t display a Free Alphabet Letters A to Z Blue | Letters and Numbers Org after you connect the PIN pad, check that the Roc Terminal+ portal supports the PIN pad.

Note: You must be an admin user to access the settings on the Roc Terminal+ portal.

 

To check that the Roc Terminal+ portal supports the PIN pad, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Roc Terminal+ Portal, select Device Management.
  2. Select ⋮ beside the N950-S that you want to connect the PIN pad to.
  3. Select Edit Parameters > Terminal and Transaction.
  4. Make sure that you have selected Enable Pin Pad.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Restart your N950-S.

My PIN pad isn’t running transactions

If you’ve connected the PIN pad device to your N950-S but the icon is grayFree Alphabet Letters A to Z Blue | Letters and Numbers Org, tap the icon to start running transactions again.
