Note: The steps in this article apply only to the web app.
You can add your own payment method that you can select on the checkout screen. For example, coupons.
- Log in to https://services.rocpos.com/.
- From the Main Menu, select Settings, and then select User Defined Payment Method.
- Select Edit, and then select Add New.
- In the Name text box, type the name of the payment method.
- To display the payment method on the checkout screen, select Favorite.
- Select the Status checkbox.
- Select Save, and then select Close.
To prompt the customer to enter a value for the payment method, you need to add a field, for example, a coupon code or voucher number. To add a field, complete the following steps:
- From the Settings menu, select Extra Fields, and then select Edit.
- From the Select Payment Method menu, select the payment method, and then select Add Field.
- In the Display Label text box, enter the label for the field.
- In the Field Name text box, enter name of the field.
- (Optional) If the customer needs to provide a value for the field, select Required.
- In the Max Digits text box, enter the maximum number of characters for the field.
- Select Save Changes.
