Add your own payment method

Note: The steps in this article apply only to the web app.

 

You can add your own payment method that you can select on the checkout screen. For example, coupons.

  1. Log in to https://services.rocpos.com/.
  2. From the Main Menu, select Settings, and then select User Defined Payment Method.
  3. Select Edit, and then select Add New.
  4. In the Name text box, type the name of the payment method.
  5. To display the payment method on the checkout screen, select Favorite.
  6. Select the Status checkbox.
  7. Select Save, and then select Close.

To prompt the customer to enter a value for the payment method, you need to add a field, for example, a coupon code or voucher number. To add a field, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Settings menu, select Extra Fields, and then select Edit.
  2. From the Select Payment Method menu, select the payment method, and then select Add Field.
  3. In the Display Label text box, enter the label for the field.
  4. In the Field Name text box, enter name of the field.
  5. (Optional) If the customer needs to provide a value for the field, select Required.
  6. In the Max Digits text box, enter the maximum number of characters for the field.
  7. Select Save Changes.
