Dual pricing: Capture a pre-authorization

Use Roc Terminal+ in dual pricing mode to capture a pre-authorization.

  1. Tap Main Menu ≡.
  2. Tap PAYMENT > CARD > TICKET.
  3. Type the capture amount, and then tap Enter.
  4. Type one of the following:
    • Transaction number from the receipt.
    • Last four digits of the card number.
  5. Tap Enter.
  6. Tap the pre-authorization that you want to capture.
  7. (Optional) Your device prompts your customer to provide the following:
    • Signature
    • Tip amount
  8. To confirm the capture amount, tap YES.
  9. Select a receipt method.
    • To print a physical copy of the receipt, tap Print receipt.
    • To send a digital copy, enter your customer’s mobile number, and then tap SMS Receipt.
