# View batch information in Payroc Insights

Use Payroc Insights to view your batches and details about transactions in each batch.

After you retrieve a list of batches, you can view the following additional information for each batch:

- **Batch Card Summary** — Table that contains transaction information grouped by card type. Each row in the table contains a summary of the transactions for a card type, for example, Mastercard.
- **Batch Card Details** — Table that contains all the transactions in a batch, including card number, transaction date, and status. You can also filter the transactions to a single card type.

## View your batches 

Use the Batch report to view all your batches within a date range.

1. Sign in to [https://payroc.partnerengage.com](https://payroc.partnerengage.com/).
2. From the navigation menu, select **Reports > Merchant Company > Batch**.
3. (Optional) If you have more than one merchant company, use the **Merchant Company** drop-down menu to select your merchant company.
4. From the **Date Range** drop-down menu, select a date range.
5. Select **Show Results**.
6. (Optional) To download a copy of the report, select **Download .xls**.

### Contents of the batch report 

| Column name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Merchant Name | Your business name. |
| MID | Merchant ID (MID) that we assigned to your merchant account. |
| Batch Date | Date that you closed the batch. |
| Batches | Number of batches. |
| Transactions | Number of transactions in the batch. |
| Returns | Dollar amount of refunds in the batch. |
| Holds | Dollar amount of funds in the batch that we have held for investigation. |
| Releases | Dollar amount of held funds in the batch that we have released. We previously held these funds for investigation. |
| Amex Direct Sales | Dollar amount of transactions that are American Express Direct transactions. |
| Gross Sales | Dollar amount of approved sales in the batch. |
| ACH Date | Date that we sent the Net Amount to your bank account. |
| Net Amount | Dollar amount that we sent to your bank account. |

## View additional information about a batch 

To view a Batch Card Summary or Batch Card Details for the batch, from the Actions column, select **…**, and then select either:

- **Batch Card Summary** — View a summary of transactions in the batch, grouped by card type.
- **Batch Card Details** — View all transactions in the batch.

### Contents of the Batch Card Summary report 

| Column name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Card Type | Type of card that the cardholder used for the transaction, for example, Visa. |
| Batches | Number of batches that contain the card type. |
| Terminals | Number of terminals that you used to run the card type. |
| Transactions | Number of transactions for the card type. |
| Returns | Dollar amount of refunds for the card type. |
| Holds | Dollar amount of funds that we have held for investigation for the card type. |
| Releases | Dollar amount of held funds that we have released for the card type. We previously held these funds for investigation. |
| Sales | Dollar amount of approved transactions for the card type. |
| Actions | To view the list of transactions in the batch for the card type, select **Details**. |

### Contents of the Batch Card Details report 

| Column name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Card Number | Masked card number of the payment card. |
| Card Type | Type of card that the cardholder used for the transaction, for example, Visa. |
| Transaction Date | Date of the transaction. |
| Batch | Number of the batch that contains the transaction, which is assigned by the terminal.  **Note:** The Batch column is a legacy field that we no longer populate. |
| Terminal | Terminal that the transaction was run on. |
| ACH Date | Date that we sent funds to your bank account. |
| Auth Amount | Total dollar amount of the authorization. |
| Transaction Amount | Total dollar amount of the transaction in the batch. |
| Status | Status of the transaction. |
