# Create and share an e-invoice on the Roc Terminal+ mobile app

Roc Terminal+ mobile app

> **Important:** You can create an e-invoice only if you have access to a Virtual Terminal. If you don't have access to a Virtual Terminal, contact us at **888-477-4500** or email us at [cs@payroc.com](mailto:cs@payroc.com).

Use the Roc Terminal+ mobile app to create an invoice that you can email to a customer. With an e-invoice, you can display a full breakdown of each item in the transaction, including the item price, quantity, and applicable taxes.

To create and send an e-invoice, complete the following steps:

1. Switch to a Virtual Terminal. To switch to a Virtual Terminal, complete the following steps:
   1. From the Sale screen, select ![Switch terminal](https://support.payroc.com/assets/5467a0b02a14627d.png)
   2. Select the endpoint identifier (EPI) of the Virtual Terminal.
   3. Select **OK**.
2. From the Sale screen, you can either:
   - Use the keypad to enter the transaction amount.
   - [Add existing inventory items to your cart](https://support.payroc.com/en-US/core-products/roc-terminal-plus/mobile-app/run-a-sale-using-the-inventory-on-the-roc-terminal-mobile-app.md).
3. Select **Process Payment**.
4. Select **E-invoice**.
5. Enter the invoice details:
6. In the **Expire** field, enter the date the invoice expires.
   1. (Optional) In the **Invoice No** field, enter the invoice number.
   2. (Optional) In the **Description** field, enter a description of the transaction.
   3. (Optional) In the **Purchase Order** field, enter the customer’s purchase order number.
7. From the **Customer Name** dropdown menu, select an existing customer or enter the following customer’s details:
   1. Phone number
   2. Email address
   3. (Optional) Company name
8. (Optional) In the Upload Image section, upload up to three images of any supporting documentation.
9. Select **Continue**. The app sends the e-invoice to the customer.
10. Select **Done**.
