# Refund a transaction

Use Roc Terminal+ to refund a transaction.

1. Tap **Sale** until the screen displays **Refund**.
2. Type the refund amount, and then tap **Enter**.
3. Ask your customer to swipe, insert, or tap their card.
   - To manually enter their card details, tap **Enter Manually**.
4. Select a receipt method.
   - To print a physical copy of the receipt, tap **Print Receipt**.
   - To send a digital copy of the receipt, enter your customer's mobile number, and then tap **SMS Receipt**.
