# Capture a pre-authorization on your Roc Terminal+ device

Roc Terminal+ on N950, N950-S, and X800 devices

1. Tap **Sale** until the screen displays **Ticket**.
2. Type the capture amount, and then tap **Enter**.
3. Type the password, and then tap **Enter**. The default password is the last four digits of the EPI, which the device displays on the screen.
4. Type one of the following:
   - Transaction number from the receipt
   - Last four digits of the card number
5. (Optional) Your device prompts your customer to provide the following:
   - Signature
   - Tip amount
6. Select the receipt method.
   - To print a physical copy of the receipt, tap **Print Receipt**.
   - To send a digital copy, enter your customer's mobile number, and then tap **SMS Receipt**.
