# Connect your Newland N950-S to your network

Roc Terminal+ on an N950-S device

You can connect your device to either a wireless network or a wired network.

## Connect your device to a wireless network 

1. From the home screen, tap **Main Menu** ≡.
2. Tap **Settings**, and then tap **WiFi Config**.
3. Tap the name of your wireless network.
4. Type the password for your wireless network.
5. Tap **Connect**.

## Connect your device to a wired network 

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the device.
3. Place the Ethernet cable into the cable organizer.
4. Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable into your router or network socket.
5. Replace the battery cover.
