# Run a sale with the Roc Services Virtual Terminal

You can select an item from the catalog or use the Quick Charge tab to enter a custom amount.

## Use the catalog 

1. On the main menu, select  **Virtual Terminal** , and then select  **Catalog**.
2. Select the category, and then select the item that you want to add.
3. (Optional) Repeat Step 2 to add other items.
4. Select  **Charge**.
5. Select the payment method, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
   - If your customer uses cash, use the on-screen keypad to enter the amount of cash they give you.

## Use Quick Charge 

1. On the main menu, select  **Virtual Terminal**.
2. Use the on-screen keypad to enter the dollar amount of the item.
3. Select + to add the item.
4. (Optional) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to add other items.
5. (Optional) To edit the item name, hover over the item and then select ![Edit](https://support.payroc.com/assets/b3cd6893f4ea14fc.png).
6. Select  **Charge**.
7. Select the payment method, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
   - If your customer uses cash, use the on-screen keypad to enter the amount of cash they give you, and then select  **Cash**.
