# Edit a tax in Roc Services

Roc Services web portal

Use the Roc Services web portal to edit an existing tax. After you edit a tax, the change applies to catalog items that use this tax.

> **Note:** If you edit the tax for an item that is already in your cart, remove the item and add the item again to apply the change.

1. Log in to [https://services.rocpos.com/login](https://services.rocpos.com/login).
2. From the navigation menu, select **Settings**, and then select **Tax**.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. For each tax that you want to edit, you can change the following:
   - In the Tax Class Name field, enter the name of the tax.
   - In the Tax Rate (%) field, enter a percentage value for the tax.
   - To change the tax status, do one of the following:
      - To activate the tax, select the **Status** checkbox.
      - To deactivate the tax, clear the **Status** checkbox.
   - To delete a tax, select ![Delete](https://support.payroc.com/assets/a2363394791afd94.png).
5. Select **Save Changes**.
