# Add a new user on your AXIUM device

Payroc App on AXIUM DX8000 and DX4000 devices

When you add a new user to the Payroc app, you must choose the type of user that you want to add. The Payroc app supports two types of users:

- **Supervisor** - A supervisor can run all transactions and update settings in the Payroc app.
- **Clerk** - A clerk can run sales and view transactions, but they can't void transactions, run refunds, or change any settings in the Payroc app.

To add a new user, complete the following steps:

1. Tap **⋮**, and then tap **Users**.
2. Enter your supervisor's details.
3. Tap +**.**
4. Tap **User ID**, and then create an ID.
5. Tao **User Name**, and then create a user name.
6. Tap **User Password**, and then create a password.
7. Tap **Confirm Password**, and then re-enter the password..
8. To select a user type, tap **Supervisor** or tap **Clerk**.
9. Tap **Save**, and then tap **Yes**.
10. (Optional) To return to the main menu, tap **⋮**, and then tap **Main Menu.**
